Fat Freezing – Cryolipolysis
Your first fat-freezing enquiry does not need to begin with a booking. At our Belfast clinic, start by asking what an assessment and a treatment session would involve.

Cryolipolysis uses controlled cooling for suitable local fat deposits. The practitioner first needs to assess the area and your medical history. Being interested in the procedure does not establish that it will be suitable, and you should have time to understand the proposed plan.
At 180 Lisburn Road, explain what you hope to change and anything that makes you apprehensive. Ask to have the applicator process described, including the sensations you may experience and how to tell the practitioner if you are uncomfortable.
Bring details of medicines, previous surgery and health conditions, including reactions to cold. Mention any hernia, unusual skin changes or symptoms in the proposed area so they can be considered before treatment.
Ask which after-effects are expected, what should prompt contact and how to reach the team. Find out when progress can sensibly be reviewed. Results differ, so a first session should not come with a promise of a particular measurement or appearance.
If you are still unsure after the explanation, take time to consider it. You can use the Belfast contact page to ask practical questions before arranging your visit.
Redness, bruising, discomfort, numbness; rarely burns or paradoxical fat growth (PAH). This is not a complete risk list. Your practitioner should explain the risks and exclusions for your own proposed procedure.
Plan your visit to our Belfast clinic or contact the team to discuss your questions.
Sensations differ. Ask about cooling, suction and discomfort beforehand, and tell your practitioner if anything feels wrong during treatment.
Yes. Cold-related conditions are relevant to screening for cryolipolysis and must be discussed before treatment.
You should understand the proposal before consenting. An enquiry or consultation does not mean you must proceed.
